{"id":820,"date":"2014-09-12T13:31:37","date_gmt":"2014-09-12T19:31:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.parkrag.com\/?p=820"},"modified":"2014-09-12T13:31:37","modified_gmt":"2014-09-12T19:31:37","slug":"vail-may-give-you-a-cheap-epic-pass-but-what-are-you-going-to-pay-for-parking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/v2.parkrag.com\/index.php\/2014\/09\/12\/vail-may-give-you-a-cheap-epic-pass-but-what-are-you-going-to-pay-for-parking\/","title":{"rendered":"Vail May Give You a Cheap Epic Pass But What Are You Going to Pay for Parking?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A friend of the Park Rag sent a message about Vail that said&#8230; &#8220;yeah, cheap pass to get you in the door&nbsp;but then charge you for breathing on the mountain&#8221;. &nbsp;Our minds naturally went&nbsp;to the low hanging&nbsp;fruit of additional charges&#8230; parking. &nbsp;That led us to research what&nbsp;is charged <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vail.com\/faqdetail\/Travel-and-Transportation\/Where-can-I-park-for-skier-day-parking.axd\">for parking<\/a>&nbsp;at or near a Vail resort:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vail: $25<\/li>\n<li>Breckenridge: $5-$20<\/li>\n<li>Keystone: mix of free and paid (gondola and certain parking lots paid)<\/li>\n<li>Heavenly: mix of free and paid (gondola parking paid)<\/li>\n<li>Beaver Creek: free<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the past, PCMR had an add-on to their pass that included underground parking. It wouldn&#8217;t be a leap for Vail to begin&nbsp;charging for the underground lot and the surface lot at PCMR.
