The weekend is almost here. If you ski or ride, this should be a perfect few days for spring skiing.<\/p>\n<p>[su_note note_color=&#8221;#f5f5f2&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>1.\u00a0You will be paying for schools&#8230; one way or another<\/h2>\n<p>On Wednesday the Park City School Board voted unanimously:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;To go to a bond in 2017 and if the bond fails in 2017, the Board will go to a tax levy to fund the necessary facility needs of the district.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re not sure whether the bond will be $65 million, $100 million, $140 million, or half a billion dollars. We&#8217;re not sure the board members know either&#8230; but they voted for it. And if the tax payers don&#8217;t pass the bond, the school board will\u00a0levy a tax to fund the &#8220;facility needs of the district.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Desperate\u00a0times call for desperate\u00a0measures.<\/p>\n<p>[\/su_note]<\/p>\n<p>[su_note note_color=&#8221;#f5f5f2&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>2. \u043f\u0440\u0438\u0432\u0435\u0442\u00a0John Huntsman<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2017\/03\/jon-huntsman-ambassador-to-russia-235841\">Sources say<\/a> former Utah Governor John Huntsman will accept an offer to be the US Ambassador to Russia. We love John Huntsman as a middle of the road Republican. Hopefully he can bring\u00a0that middle of the road philosophy to US\/Russia relations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/su_note]<\/p>\n<p>[su_note note_color=&#8221;#f5f5f2&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>3.\u00a0Legislature votes to reduce DUI Threshold<\/h2>\n<p>The Utah Legislature <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deseretnews.com\/article\/865675188\/Legislature-makes-Utahs-DUI-threshold-lowest-in-nation-at-05-percent.html?pg=all\">has voted<\/a> to reduce the state&#8217;s DUI threshold from .08 to .05, the strictest in the nation. Governor Herbert has said he is supportive of the legislature&#8217;s action on alcohol. If the Governor does follow through and sign the bill, it\u00a0will become state law.<\/p>\n<p>[\/su_note]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning.
