{"id":428,"date":"2014-05-29T17:39:11","date_gmt":"2014-05-29T23:39:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.parkrag.com\/?p=428"},"modified":"2014-05-29T17:39:11","modified_gmt":"2014-05-29T23:39:11","slug":"serenity-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/v2.parkrag.com\/index.php\/2014\/05\/29\/serenity-now\/","title":{"rendered":"Serenity Now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you live anywhere around Park City, you are used to summer road construction. \u00a0However, you&#8217;ve probably never seen anything like what&#8217;s going to happen this summer in Summit County. \u00a0A few years of down revenues and a couple years of delays due to tax petitions has led to extreme pent up demand for road repairs. \u00a0Add to that capital improvements like new\u00a0roundabouts \u00a0and the Utah Department of Transportation taking\u00a0I-80 down to one lane for repairs on the way to Wanship, and it will take all of our collective patience to make it through the next few months.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One of the single largest additions will be roundabouts at the Silver Summit exit (Home Depot). \u00a0These changes are being put in place in anticipation of the 1,000 housing units that will soon be added in that area. \u00a0This will likely have a major impact on those living in Trailside and potentially Promontory. \u00a0 People conducting business at the Home Depot, Burt Brothers, Sherman Williams, or other stores in the area will likely be impacted, too. \u00a0While it&#8217;s likely been planned for, there could also be a impact to the \u00a0Sheriff&#8217;s Department as the Summit County Justice Center is often\u00a0accessed via Silver Summit.
