Effectively Utah won&#8217;t be increasing the amount of subsidies that can be paid to film makers shooting in Utah. Yet, that&#8217;s not really the interesting part.<\/p>\n<p>What I find interesting is that there wasn&#8217;t one mention of Park City Film Studios in the article &#8212; you know that 375,000 square foot project, at the edge of town, 20 years in the making, that will diversify the local economy.<\/p>\n<p>No mention. No quotes. No references. No indication of how or if Governor Herbert&#8217;s veto impacts the studio. No\u00a0details regarding whether the studio lobbied for the bill or why they couldn&#8217;t persuade the Governor.
