Her reasoning was:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If we made revenue from the buses they could offer more amenities<\/li>\n<li>If we charged $1-$2 we may be able to have more frequent buses<\/li>\n<li>With more funding, they may be able to do more point to point solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It&#8217;s an interesting point. Obviously free buses are not solving\u00a0our transportation issues. Would we get more people to ride buses if we had a different pricing strategy? When things are free they aren&#8217;t valued much.
