{"id":2750,"date":"2015-02-03T09:01:17","date_gmt":"2015-02-03T16:01:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.parkrag.com\/?p=2750"},"modified":"2015-02-03T09:01:17","modified_gmt":"2015-02-03T16:01:17","slug":"clarification-50-million-capital-requests-school-administrators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/v2.parkrag.com\/index.php\/2015\/02\/03\/clarification-50-million-capital-requests-school-administrators\/","title":{"rendered":"Clarification on $50 Million in Capital Requests by School Administrators"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A concerned citizen wrote to us and asked whether our previous article on <a title=\"Park City School District Administrators Request over $50 million in Capital Outlays\" href=\"http:\/\/www.parkrag.com\/school-district-administrators-request-50-million-outlays\/\">$50 million in capital\u00a0requests<\/a>\u00a0for Park City Schools included the rebuild of Treasure Mountain Junior High. <strong>It does not.<\/strong> It also does not include a total of $7 million in additional capital outlays that are each less than $1 million dollars.<\/p>\n<p>The Park City School Board still has to approve these $57 million of\u00a0\u00a0capital requests. So, it&#8217;s not a done deal. We&#8217;d venture to say the rebuild of Treasure Mountain Junior High <strong>is a done deal<\/strong> (although technically a school board vote is still needed).<\/p>\n<p>If the new school and the most of the new requests\u00a0are approved, we are talking about a lot of money they&#8217;ll need to raise via a school bond.
