{"id":1226,"date":"2014-09-29T11:39:41","date_gmt":"2014-09-29T17:39:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.parkrag.com\/?p=1226"},"modified":"2014-09-29T11:39:41","modified_gmt":"2014-09-29T17:39:41","slug":"woodward-at-gorgoza-sledding-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/v2.parkrag.com\/index.php\/2014\/09\/29\/woodward-at-gorgoza-sledding-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Will Woodward Park City Find a Home at the Gorgoza Sledding Park?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We heard interesting speculation over the weekend. \u00a0Someone asked what POWDR Corp was planning on doing\u00a0with the Gorgoza sledding hill since it wasn&#8217;t part of the PCMR\u00a0sale to Vail. \u00a0Another person mentioned \u00a0&#8220;wouldn&#8217;t that make a good home for <a href=\"http:\/\/webcache.googleusercontent.com\/search?q=cache:hRtWfW36W3IJ:woodwardparkcity.com\/+&amp;cd=1&amp;hl=en&amp;ct=clnk&amp;gl=us\">Woodward Park City<\/a>?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Woodward Park City is the\u00a0facility they were going to put at the base of PCMR that would be an action sports training center and camp for snowboarding, skiing, skateboarding, BMX, etc. With Vail&#8217;s purchase it needs to find a new home.<\/p>\n<p>Gorgoza makes sense on many levels. \u00a0While the\u00a0sledding\u00a0operation seems to be busy and probably brings in a good chunk of money, this could\u00a0be a lot bigger. \u00a0 Would it replace the sledding hill? \u00a0Likely. \u00a0Unless by some sheer chance they could find someone willing to sell them land adjacent to the sledding hill. \u00a0Where could they ever find that?
